Welcome
As founders of the Robert E.Reed Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Foundation (a non-profit organization under IRS tax code 501(c)(3), our ultimate goal is to support ongoing research efforts to find a cure for GI cancers. Since its inception, the Foundation's dedicated efforts have significantly raised awareness and understanding about all gastrointestinal cancers. We have provided, and will continue to provide, important resources to our physicians and researchers. This is our chance to help prolong life and ease the suffering of those who are fighting all gastrointestinal cancers.
GI cancers tend to be very lethal. The Reed Foundation is focused on proactively supporting research and patient care initiatives. We invite you to become involved with the Reed Foundation and help us "finish the fight". Hundreds of people have joined our cause by helping us raise money, volunteer and support our fundraising efforts. (Please check out, HOW YOU CAN HELP). We personally invite you to get involved.

We encourage you to explore our web site and learn more about the Reed Foundation and the great strides being made by our GI physicians and researchers at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Funded grants, a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary clinic, clinical trials, and world-class scientific research and cancer care are a part of our web site to inform and educate families about all gastrointestinal cancers.
Most sincerely,
Carolyn Reed, Randy Reed & Scott Reed
