Javier Carrillo
My name is Javier Carrillo. I am 31 years old and was born in Morelia, the capital of Michoacán, Mexico. I grew up in a family where both my grandfather and father were
distinguished surgeons, which inspired me from a young age to follow in their footsteps. I completed my general medicine studies at the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo and then moved to Mexico City to specialize in general surgery at the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, concluding in February of last year. I am a transplant surgery fellow at the same institution. Upon completing my fellowship, I plan to pursue further specialization abroad to enhance my capabilities as a transplant surgeon. Afterward, I intend to return to Morelia to apply the comprehensive knowledge.
