Sushanth Reddy M.D.

Sushanth Reddy, M.D., Assistant Professor of Surgery, is part of the research funded by the Robert E. Reed Foundation.

Dr. Reddy came to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) recently from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to maintaining a busy clinical practice in treating complex GI cancers through a multidisciplinary approach, he also heads the Surgical Oncology Research Laboratory at UAB and the basic science efforts of the lab.

His research interests involve the early molecular and genetic changes in pancreatic cancer along with novel treatment strategies of GI malignancies.
